Self-Empowered Society

The Self-Empowered Society Project in Sri Lanka is designed to uplift vulnerable individuals and communities by providing them with the tools, skills, and resources needed to achieve economic independence and sustainable livelihoods. The project includes distributing essential assets such as sewing machines for tailoring, fishing boats for coastal communities, and equipment for grocery shops, home cooking, and sweet-making businesses. Additionally, it offers training programs in entrepreneurship, financial management, and technical skills to ensure the long-term success of these ventures. By focusing on income-generating activities tailored to local needs and cultural contexts, the initiative empowers individuals, particularly women and marginalized groups, to improve their living standards, support their families, and contribute to the broader economic development of their communities.
