Seasonal Projects

The Seasonal Project in Sri Lanka is a compassionate initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable communities during significant religious and cultural occasions, such as Ramadan and Eid ul-Adha. During Ramadan, the project provides essential food packs and nutritious Iftar meals to ensure families can break their fast with dignity, while also distributing Zakat (charitable aid) to those in need and gifting Eid clothes to bring joy and celebration to underprivileged individuals. During Eid ul-Adha, the project focuses on distributing meat from Qurbani (sacrificial animals) to ensure families can partake in the festive meals, alongside providing Eid clothes to enhance the spirit of the occasion. By addressing both immediate needs and fostering a sense of community and celebration, the project uplifts marginalized groups, promotes solidarity, and ensures that everyone can participate in these important cultural and religious events.

1. Ramadan

Ramadan projects focus on supporting vulnerable communities during the holy month by providing essential food packs, nutritious Iftar meals, and Zakat to ensure families can observe Ramadan with dignity. Additionally, Eid clothes are distributed to bring joy and celebration to underprivileged individuals, fostering a sense of belonging and community spirit. These initiatives address food insecurity, financial hardships, and emotional well-being, ensuring everyone can fully participate in the spiritual and festive aspects of Ramadan.

2. Qurban

Qurban projects aim to spread joy and support during the Eid ul-Adha festive occasion by distributing Qurban meat to ensure families can partake in celebratory meals. New Eid clothes are also provided to underprivileged individuals, enhancing the festive spirit and promoting dignity. These projects emphasize sharing, solidarity, and inclusivity, ensuring marginalized communities can celebrate Eid ul-Adha with happiness and a sense of togetherness.
