Hot Meal

Through the Hot Meal Program, alkuf.org provides freshly prepared, nutritious meals to individuals who cannot afford to eat daily. This includes the homeless, daily wage laborers, low-income families, and displaced individuals. Meals are served in public places, community centers, and schools, especially during cold seasons, festivals, and times of crisis. The meals usually consist of rice, curry, vegetables, and protein sources, cooked under hygienic conditions. The initiative ensures that the most vulnerable people receive at least one healthy meal a day. In many cases, it is the only meal they receive. This act of kindness not only fills stomachs but also restores dignity and humanity. Volunteers often sit and eat with recipients to foster a sense of community and inclusion.
